Wedding Season!!!!

The wedding season has started here in India!  Everyday many many weddings take place, and the roads are full of traffic, people, fireworks, etc!  Even though it may take me twice as long to get somewhere, it is so fun to see!  For example, when I am coming home from my Indian Flute Class I see a wedding pretty much every time, I think there was only one time when there was not a wedding! 

As I am going by, people are in the middle of the street dancing, there is a small marching band with a few brass instruments, fireworks go off, and then the couple is either in a car, or one night the couple was in a lighted horse drawn carriage!   

Also, weddings here are not normally a small affair, they will be over 3 to 4 days, each day having a special ceremony or ritual.  I will soon be able to experience this whole process!  I will put up pictures then, as of now I am still just looking forward to experiencing it all!!!  :)
